Dalan Turkish olive oil soap (Handmade)
This is the gold standard lather - lathers like no other, in a bag or out of a bag it's eager to foam, robust on the skin and forms dense peaks. This is the one.
Fills the bathroom with a nice aroma which is hightened significantly in use, and remains well into the day. Strong scent performer.
Hand made in turkey - the packaging feels less premium than the soap is
The soap lasts well in a bag but does require keeping hung or outside the shower between washes to increase lifespan. If the soap is allowed to stay went and get soft then the lifespan will be reduced.
Simply the one for my skin - leaves my skin nourished and plump, and very soft.
This soap is the best olive oil soap you can get. Big bars, low prices, hand made - the list goes on! the lather is strong, forms peaks, is robust on the skin and leaves the skin nourished and soft. The smell is fantastic, nice bathroom aroma and resides well into the day. There is a few criticisms - there is more ingredients than you would maybe want in an olive oil soap and it comes in a plastic wrap.
Ethical discaimer, it's a shame this is a huge multinational who makes the soap and unsure exactly how hand made it is. Also quite a lot of ingredients, but, still - my grail soap.
